Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect
- Account: name, email, phone, avatar.
- Driver verification: identity documents, driving licence, vehicle docs, background check results.
- Deliveries: addresses, descriptions, prices, status, chat messages.
- Driver live location during an active delivery.
- Payment metadata via Stripe (we never store card numbers).
2. Legal basis (GDPR)
We process data to perform the delivery contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe marketplace (Art. 6(1)(f)).
3. Sharing
Sender and driver see each other's name, ratings, contact details and live location for the duration of the delivery. Payment data is shared with Stripe (data processor). We do not sell your data.
4. Retention
Delivery records: 7 years (tax/accounting). Live location: deleted within 30 days after delivery completion. Chat messages: 1 year. Account on deletion request: anonymised within 30 days, except where we must retain for legal reasons.
5. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email privacy@moveodelivery.com.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is logged and limited to authorised personnel. We use Stripe for PCI-compliant payment handling.
