Verification Processes and Escrow Use in Peer Deliveries

Driver Verification Steps

Verified drivers are matched only after background checks confirm identity and route details. Senders review these verified profiles before accepting a match. This process applies to all users posting or carrying parcels on existing European routes.

Upfront Escrow Payments

Senders pay the full agreed amount into escrow before the driver collects the parcel. The platform holds these funds until the sender confirms delivery. Only then does the driver receive 70 percent of the price. The remaining 30 percent platform commission stays visible at every stage of the match.

Distance-Based Pricing Rules

All prices follow a distance-based calculation with a €9 minimum. Senders see the exact breakdown, including the 30 percent commission, before confirming the post. Drivers know their 70 percent share from the start.

Handling Disputes

When a parcel does not arrive as expected, both parties submit evidence through the platform. The escrow remains in place until resolution. Verified drivers and senders receive updates on the status throughout any review.

Practical Steps for Senders

• Post the parcel with clear pickup and delivery points.
• Confirm the driver profile shows verified status.
• Release escrow funds only after physical inspection of the parcel.

Practical Steps for Drivers

• Accept only routes already planned.
• Carry the parcel as described in the match.
• Await sender confirmation before any payout.

Role of Transparent Commission

The 30 percent commission covers platform operations including verification and escrow management. It appears on every quote so senders and drivers understand the split in advance. This structure applies uniformly to small business parcels and individual deliveries.
